Lash Extension Styles

Classic Lashes

This is Couture Lash’s signature look that our stylists have perfected. Classic Lashing is a technique in which a single extension is applied to one, isolated natural lash. Classic lashes are perfect for adding length, fullness and curl to your natural lash line.

Hybrid Lashes

The Hybrid technique is a combination of two different lash application techniques rolled into one set of lashes. Individual classic lashes are placed on one isolated natural lash combined with multiple lash extension on one natural lash (volume). Great for a client who has sparse lashes in areas or prefers a more fluffy voluminous look to a natural classic look.

Volume Lashes

With our volume lashes, you are getting a thicker, more dramatic look. This lash style has a fluffy and full appearance. The process involves applying multiple lashes to a single natural lash. Great for clients that have thin lashes and desire a more natural full and fluffy look.

Mega Volume Lashes

6D to 9D lash fans are attached to each individual lash to create the most voluminous look. For the client who wants to achieve the most dramatic look. A show stopper.

Other Lash Extension Services

30 Minute Mini Lash Fill

A mini fill is 30 minutes of nothing but adding in lash extensions. Mini fills are perfect for a quick touch up if you have a special occasion in between regular fills and you want extra glam! Please remember that there is no clean up or removal of old extensions during this appointment so it can not take the place of getting regular fills. Only available to returning clients.

Please call to schedule this service – not available for online booking.

Bottom Lash Extensions

The extra length and definition offered by bottom lashes can help open up a person’s eyes, making them seem even larger and more dramatic without looking “fake”. Bottom lashes also reduce the risk of a potential imbalance from only obtaining upper lashes, particularly when paired with eye makeup. The additional length offered by bottom lashes helps slim the face!

Prepare for your Appointment

  • To maximize time with your lash artist always arrive to your appointment with clean eyes and eyelashes. Remove all eye cosmetics such as eye makeup, mascara, eye cream, eye serum, etc.
  • Do not apply heavy moisturizers, lotions, or facial oils to your face prior to your appointment.
  • Wear or bring your eyeglasses to your appointment if you normally wear contact lenses.
  • Do not curl your eyelashes on the day of your appointment.
  • Do not tint, perm, or treat your eyelashes with any chemical treatment 24 hours prior to your appointment.
  • Please wait 24 hours after eyelash extensions removal before getting a new set of eyelash extensions applied.
  • Tell your lash artist if you have recently had treatment that can irritate the eye, such as skin resurfacing, chemical peels, eyebrow waxing, laser treatments, or permanent makeup application. Recovery time varies with each procedure and individual.

What to Expect During Your Visit

Many people would love to have the long, luxurious lashes that eyelash extensions provide but are concerned about what the procedure involves. In fact, what happens during an eyelash extension appointment is very simple and you can expect to feel very little throughout.

Before you begin, the stylist will ask you questions about your health and lifestyle to make sure extensions are suitable for you. Lash extensions are easy to care for and only need to stay dry for 24 hours, therefore they are ideal for most people. To be able to receive lashes on the same day, you should arrive without any makeup on your eyes. You should also not curl your lashes that day nor wear contact lenses.

For the application, you will be lying on your back with your eyes closed. The last artist will make sure you are comfortable before beginning. This is important, as you’ll be here for the next hour or two, depending on how many extensions you are receiving. Many people find the experience so relaxing that they fall asleep.

The stylist will start by brushing your eyelashes, cleaning them of any makeup residue. To keep your lower lashes out of the way, the stylist will cover them with medical tape or a gel patch. This prevents them from sticking to the upper lashes. Your lash artist may also tape your upper eyelid to hold it in place.

Now you are ready to receive the first lash extension. The stylist will separate one of your eyelashes from the others using specialized tweezers. Then, the lash artist will apply adhesive to the extension, put it in the correct position, and bond it in place. For safety reasons, extensions are always applied directly to natural lashes, never to the skin.

Once the stylist has completed all the lashes on one eye, it is time for the other. You will receive the same number of lashes on each side for an even appearance.

After Care

Proper care of your lash extensions is imperative to keep them looking fresh out of the studio every day and will prolong the life of your extensions. Should you ever decide you no longer want to have eyelash extensions, please contact your lash stylist to have them removed to avoid damaging your natural lashes.

Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours. For the first 48 hours it is best to avoid tanning, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming.

Use an oil free cleanser to clean your lashes daily. This helps to remove oil buildup. We recommend using our Lash Bubble Bath.

Use the spoolie provided by your lash stylist to brush your lashes daily. This keeps them looking neat without having to touch them with your fingers.

Avoid touching your lashes. Your fingers contain natural oils that can breakdown the lash glue.

Use oil free products around the eyes (makeup, cream, lotions, etc).

Do not use an eyelash curler on your lashes.

Avoid wearing mascara while wearing lash extensions, especially waterproof mascara.

Schedule an appointment in advance to have lashes filled at 2-3 weeks.
